About UpScale Microwave
UpScale Microwave combines physics and chemistry expertise in designing easy to use microwave chemical processors for synthesis, drying and extraction of a wide variety of products at commercial scales of production. We build and operate our reactors in the USA.
History:
| 2008 | Founded as AccelBeam Synthesis Inc. |
| 2009 | First reactor prototype (B-12) deployed and independently validated. |
| 2010 | Leased new facility in Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania. |
| 2010 | Began offering contract chemical manufacturing services. |
| 2012 | Introduced small batch (B-2) and continuous flow (DCF) reactors to complete our product suite. |
| 2012 | Expanded offering to contract manufacturing, process development, joint development and reactor sales. |
Facility:
Our Garnet Valley facility includes 700 square feet of modern chemical lab space with two bench hoods and one walk-in hood. This is sufficient space to conduct complete chemical synthesis scale-up operation. Within this space we maintain a discovery and optimization station (pictured at right with a CEM Discover reactor), a kilo-lab (not visible in the far bay), and commercial scale production area (DCF reactor at center in front of walk-in hood can be rotated out for use of a B-12 pictured at left).
